El reconocido maestro de la música llanera, Walter Silva, ha sorprendido a todos con su último proyecto musical. Después de cumplir 30 años desde la grabación de su primer casete, Silva tuvo la audaz idea de seleccionar sus mejores canciones y grabarlas junto a la prestigiosa Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Colombia.
Este sueño parecía imposible de realizar, pero Silva no se rindió. Decidió encerrarse en su propósito y trabajar incansablemente para hacerlo realidad. El sacrificio económico y el tiempo invertido fueron inmensos, pero el resultado valió la pena.
En su nuevo disco, titulado «Mi Papá el Camino y Yo», Silva ha seleccionado ocho canciones emblemáticas de su carrera y ha grabado una inédita. Una de las canciones más esperadas es precisamente «Mi Papá el Camino y Yo», que cuenta con una versión sinfónica y una versión criolla.
Este proyecto ha tenido sus tropiezos, pero también ha generado muchas sonrisas. Mientras algunos lo consideran maravilloso, otros critican la mezcla de la música llanera con la sinfónica. Sin embargo, para Silva se trata de soñar y salirse de la comodidad, buscando darle un nuevo respiro a esta hermosa música.
La portada del disco promete revelar los nombres de los profesionales que colaboraron en la producción y técnica del proyecto. Además, Silva anuncia que a partir del 1 de diciembre, el disco estará disponible en todas las plataformas digitales para ser escuchado y descargado. Y para los coleccionistas, el 28 de marzo de 2024, en su cumpleaños, se lanzará una edición física del CD.
