“Quien no conoce la historia está condenado a repetirla”, con base en esta frase se ha venido realizando el ejercicio de socialización con distintos sectores de la sociedad y particularmente con los estudiantes, se ha tenido una especial atención, debido a que un alto porcentaje de esta generación, no conoce la historia reciente del país.
De manera autónoma rectores y docentes de aula de cada institución, programaron diversas actividades con los estudiantes, entre las que se encuentran dibujos, textos, charlas, socializaciones y carteleras con mensajes emotivos, sobre lo que los estudiantes perciben de la historia violenta de Colombia.
Entendiendo la complejidad del conflicto que ha vivido Colombia por décadas, varios rectores afirmaron que el ejercicio de socialización del informe final, no puede ser una actividad de un día. Así las cosas, han planteado varios meses de trabajo en sus instituciones educativas.
Lo particular de los ejercicios en Yopal, es que varios funcionarios que hacen parte del Sistema Integral de Verdad, Justicia y Reparación, participaron como voluntarios, explicando a los estudiantes, el alcance de esta instancia, en la resolución del conflicto armado en Colombia.
Por ejemplo, uno de los voluntarios que hace parte de la Unidad de Búsqueda de Personas Desaparecidas, señaló la importancia que los estudiantes conozcan el Sistema para La Paz, la Comisión de la Verdad y su Legado y cuál es el trabajo adelantado frente a la Desaparición Forzada.
Para Myriam Alvarado Barrera, secretaria (e) de Educación de Yopal, promover la empatía con las víctimas de la violencia es uno de los objetivos de las actividades de la socialización.
“Como Secretaría de Educación de Yopal y siendo aliados estratégicos en este ejercicio académico, estamos dejando un mensaje en los colegios para que los estudiantes también mantengan esa empatía con sus compañeros y de esta manera, se fortalezca la convivencia escolar”, afirmó Alvarado Barrera.
