Los 10 bienes que pertenecen al comerciante Jonh Jairo Torres, fueron congelados a través de una medida cautelar de un proceso de investigación conjunta que adelantan la Dirección Nacional de Fiscalía Especializada y la Dijín, -Grupo de Extinción de Dominio y Lavado de Activos-.
Pese a que la medida fue tomada el 15 de mayo, la información fue presentada a los medios de comunicación de Casanare, en la mañana del 4 de junio, cuando la directora de Extinciones de Dominio de la Fiscalía General de la Nación, Andrea Malagón, señaló que se había establecido un incremento patrimonial injustificado de Jonh Jairo Torres, por 150.000 millones de pesos. “En el proceso se estableció que existen relaciones cercanas entre el patrimonio de alias “John Calzón“, con el patrimonio de alias “Coletas“, un reconocido narcotraficante que en el año 2010, fue extraditado a España por pertenecer a la red de narcotráfico de El Loco Barrera“, explicó la funcionaria de la Fiscalía General de la Nación.

Nueve de los 10 bienes inmuebles, están ubicados en Bogotá, en Barranquilla y en Yopal, donde está ubicado el establecimiento de comercio, conocido como el Hotel La Bendición.
Aclaró la delegada de la Fiscalía que la actividad de derecho de extinción de dominio, se dirigió contra el patrimonio de Jonh Jairo Torres y no contra la persona.
