Teniendo en cuenta que
tradicionalmente la comunidad Yopaleña realiza el ascenso hasta la cumbre del
Cerro “El Venado”, actividad que a consecuencia de la entrada de la temporada
de lluvias, del mal estado del camino de ascenso y de la asistencia masiva de
personas, genera riesgo para la vida e integridad de quienes asisten a esta actividad, la Alcaldía de Yopal
adoptó medidas especiales mediante Decreto No.039.
En tal virtud, se prohibió la
circulación y tránsito de personas a la cumbre del Cerro “El Venado” el día 18
de abril de 2014 y solo está permitido el ascenso hasta el Santuario de la
Virgen de Manare, para evitar accidentes por caída, deslizamientos, derrumbes y
desorientación de las personas, entre otras.
Las personas que
incumplan alguna de las disposiciones contenidas en el Decreto No.039 serán
sancionadas, según lo establecido en la Ordenanza 015 de 2006 artículo 116, que
consisten en la imposición de multa de cinco (5) a veinte (20) salarios mínimos
diarios vigentes.
