El excompañero sentimental de Fidelia Tarache, acusado de propinarle 56 puñaladas frente a su familia, fue judicializado y enviado a detención intramural tras las audiencias de garantías realizadas en Yopal.
El abogado Andrés Bellón, representante del caso, confirmó que las diligencias de legalización de captura, imputación de cargos y medida de aseguramiento se llevaron a cabo el pasado viernes, culminando con la decisión de la jueza de enviar al agresor a un centro de reclusión intramural mientras avanzan las demás etapas procesales.
El hecho ocurrió la noche del jueves en una finca de la vereda Santa Fe de Morichal, donde el hombre ingresó sigilosamente, bloqueó las puertas con guindos de chinchorro y atacó brutalmente a su esposa, con quien llevaba 32 años de matrimonio y tenía cuatro hijos. La víctima recibió 56 heridas con arma blanca, según el dictamen de Medicina Legal.
La tragedia fue presenciada por familiares, entre ellos una nieta de 10 años, quienes intentaron auxiliarla, pero Fidelia falleció en el traslado hacia el hospital. El agresor huyó de la vivienda, pero fue capturado en flagrancia en el sector de La Chaparrera y puesto a disposición de la Fiscalía.
Bellón señaló que el procesado fue imputado por el delito de feminicidio agravado, debido a que hacía parte del núcleo familiar, lo que podría acarrearle una condena entre 500 y 600 meses de prisión. Aunque el hombre no aceptó los cargos en las audiencias iniciales, aún tiene la posibilidad de hacerlo en la etapa de acusación.
El abogado también explicó que, de acogerse a un preacuerdo antes de esa audiencia, la pena podría reducirse hasta en un 50%, lo que equivaldría a entre 25 y 30 años de cárcel. No obstante, aclaró que, dada la contundencia de las pruebas, no hay posibilidad de que quede en libertad.
Bellón recalcó la urgencia de fortalecer las medidas de prevención y atención a las víctimas de violencia de género:“Este caso nos deja una enseñanza: no se pueden minimizar las amenazas ni los comportamientos agresivos. Por pequeños que parezcan, deben denunciarse, porque pueden terminar en tragedias irreparables como la de doña Fidelia”, advirtió.
