En un episodio violento ocurrido la madrugada del domingo en Yopal, específicamente en la carrera 18 entre calles 14 y 15, en el parque lineal de Caño Seco, fue asesinado Samuel Vásquez Acosta, conocido en el mundo del hampa como alias «Pinocho».
La víctima, con un extenso historial criminal y múltiples detenciones previas, fue abatida a tiros en el lugar de los hechos, en lo que se presume, sería un ajuste de cuentas por control territorial para el comercio de estupefacientes.
La ciudadanía local ha denunciado reiteradamente la presencia delictiva en el parque lineal de Caño Seco, describiéndolo como un corredor del delito que abarca desde la calle 24 hasta la calle 10, por toda la carrera 18.
