Una vez el profe Juan José Sarmiento, secretario de Educación de Yopal, anunció que ya estaba contratado el PAE (Programa de Alimentación Escolar) para el 2024, se generó tranquilidad en la comunidad educativa, debido a que esto garantizará que desde el comienzo de clases haya alimentación escolar.
Este año, son 14.300 estudiantes los que se benefician de este programa que busca la permanencia de los niñ@s y jóvenes en las aulas de clase, debido a que muchos de ellos, reciben una o dos comidas al día.
Este contrato inicial se ejecutará en 4 meses y 15 días, pero ya iniciaron las gestiones para buscar los recursos que se requieren para culminar la prestación del servicio hasta el último día del calendario escolar.
El contratista es el consorcio PAE Yopal 2024, encargado de brindar la alimentación escolar a las 24 instituciones educativas, deberá iniciar un proceso de alistamiento que consiste en contratar a las manipuladoras de alimentos y el personal de supervisión, más de 200 personas.
El profe Sarmiento hizo un llamado a profesores, directivos docentes, padres de familia y estudiantes a que sean los primeros supervisores del Programa de Alimentación Escolar y en caso de que haya algo para corregir, se implementen las mejoras de manera inmediata.
“Desde la Secretaría de Educación de Yopal, también se conformará un equipo de trabajo encargado de hacer el seguimiento y verificación a la prestación del servicio; se conformará un equipo técnico que estará en las diferentes instituciones educativas, revisando las minutas de los alimentos y que correspondan a lo que fue contratado”, afirmó el licenciado Juan José Sarmiento, secretario de Educación de Yopal.
