El alcalde Luis Eduardo Castro, compartió  con los jóvenes, y les dijo: “Tienen el espacio para asumir el liderazgo de Yopal, para planificar el territorio con el que sueñan y para eso, deben prepararse”.

En la jornada surgieron dos importantes acciones, derivadas del proyecto `Guardianes de la Convivencia`:

  • La primera fue la graduación de 91 estudiantes y maestros como Guardianes de la Convivencia, es decir, serán los encargados de replicar en sus instituciones educativas, varias acciones que permitan seguir fortaleciendo la convivencia escolar.
  • Se creó la Red Municipal de Personeros Estudiantiles, integrada por representantes  de las 24 instituciones educativas de Yopal y 3  instituciones privadas.

“Después de 2 años de cerradas las escuelas y que los estudiantes realizaron trabajo en casa, se evidenciaron rezagos en aprendizaje y en la parte socioemocional, por lo que estamos trabajando, en la importancia de aprender a escuchar, de tener confianza, de perdonar, de aceptar cuando nos equivocamos, de generar empatía y sobre todo de promover el trabajo en equipo”, afirmó Lida Zaret Gamboa González, secretaria de Educación de Yopal.

De resaltar que en este ejercicio pedagógico, participaron uniformados de la Policía, el Ejército e integrantes del proyecto Agrocomunitic, aspecto que favoreció la convivencia y que contribuyó con varias pruebas, a dejar grandes reflexiones en los estudiantes.
