El trámite que conlleva más tiempo, es el censo de afectados que realizan las alcaldías y sus organismo de socorro. Es así como en tiempo récord se ha logrado llegar a lugares tan distantes como Guamal y Limonal en Maní, Guaracura en San Luis de Palenque y resguardos indígenas de Orocué.
Ante la efectividad y el acompañamiento oportuno mediante la atención humanitaria, las comunidades se pronunciaron a través de mensajes de reconocimiento hacia la Administración Es El Tiempo de Casanare, los organismos de socorro y las alcaldías. Mientras tanto, Luis Gualdrón, desde Guaracura, vereda de San Luis de Palenque, manifestó que: “hay un Dios que los bendice a ustedes y a los bomberos, se presentaron aquí en las horas que más uno necesitaba”.
También, Plutarco Rodríguez damnificado de la vereda Guamal, Maní, envió su mensaje de agradecimiento, “muchísima gracias señor Gobernador, es un detalle que uno lo agradece en estos momentos cuando uno más lo necesita”.
En los más de 600 hogares afectados en los municipios de Orocué, Maní, San Luis de Palenque, Tauramena y Villanueva, se ha distribuido 5.680 ayudas humanitarias entre mercados, colchonetas, hamacas, toldillos, cobijas, láminas de zinc y amarres.
