Nueve periodistas de Casanare, participan en el certamen en donde entre otros temas se abordan, «Escarbando en la memoria histórica», «Investigaciones de lo local a lo tras nacional», «Las investigaciones que se convierten en libros», «Los caminos del periodismo asistido por computador», y «Para donde va el periodismo de investigación». Se trata de que los periodistas del país conozcan los casos más relevantes en materia de investigación, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional, las herramientas que existen para lograr buenos trabajos, la importancia de los bancos de datos, las trabas durante el desarrollo de las investigaciones, y los efectos de las mismas en las decisiones que el Estado y la justicia asumen, frente a diversos casos. «Los casos de Verdad Abierta», a cargo de Cesar Molinares y «La ruta del despojo», una serie de entregas publicadas en El Meridiano por la periodista Ginna Morelo, en donde se hace un seguimiento a la ruta de los paramilitares desde Urabá hasta Córdoba y sus efectos devastadores, entre la población del sector, son entre otros, los trabajos que se exponen en el marco del Encuentro.Los comunicadores que quieran conocer más acerca de los alcances del Seminario, futuros eventos y como hacer parte de la asociación Consejo de Redacción, pueden acceder a la página www.consejoderedaccion.orgLa compañía Equión financió la inscripción de algunos de los comunicadores que por Casanare asisten al evento.
