El pasado jueves 28 de abril, la alcaldía de Yopal rindió cuentas de su gestión en el 2021 y así, dejar cuentas claras sobre cómo vienen invirtiendo los recursos públicos de la ciudad.
Durante el acto de apertura, el público asistente se levantó de sus sillas, no solo para rendir honor a los símbolos patrios, sino también para ver y escuchar el trabajo de 268 niños, niñas, adolescentes y adultos, representado en la cultura, en un ensamble musical que llamó la atención de los asistentes.
Todo inició con la banda sinfónica interpretando un tema clásico llamado la Danza del fuego, agrupación que integra niños entre 9 y 13 años de edad que hacen parte del proceso de formación de vientos y percusión que conforman la banda sinfónica.
Posterior a ello, saltó al escenario la danza urbana, un proceso reciente que con gran esfuerzo se ha ido
posicionando en la ciudad y además gracias a esta expresión artística se ha logrado alejar a más niños y jóvenes de las garras de la drogadicción y que puedan aprovechar el tiempo libre. Acompañados de los tambores y guitarras que interpretan niños y jóvenes, dirigidos por los que hacen realidad este proceso, los instructores.
Luego, el ritmo cambió a algo más colombiano, entrando por la región caribe y su peculiar ritmo caribeño, la danza folclórica, con sus trajes sobresalientes y coloridos y que revolotean sin parar al son de la cumbia.
Por último, y orgullosos de su tierra, llegó el momento del folclor llanero. Interpretando el Joropo que nos mueve el alma, Laura Sofía Rosas, niña de 8 años de edad talento yopaleño; Julian Pan con tan solo 6 añitos y quien ya se proyecta como un gran artista, y Josué Laverde, hijo de esta llanura y reconocido artista de la región, quienes al son de las 32 cuerdas nos llevan a un viaje por la llanura acompañados más de 150 bailadores que zapatean al son del compás con sus trajes brillantes y típicos, que nos hacen soñar y querer cuidar mas nuestra cultura nuestra ciudad y nuestra identidad.
Durante estos dos años de creación del Instituto de Cultura y Turismo de Yopal, se ha avanzado en ese rescate de la cultura llanera y sembrar ese amor por nuestra tierra en las nuevas generaciones. Durante estos procesos se ha priorizado población joven de los barrios Progresos, Llano lindo y Casiquiare, sectores en los que se ha intervenido para poder dar oportunidades de potencializar el talento y aprovechar el tiempo libre.
